We drove the half hour from Lakeside Fish Farm, to the Rwanda/Burundi boarder only to crossing gate closed, We chatted with a guard who was kind enough to tell us, it was closed, so we turned around! Hopefully we’ll visit Grace Ministries on a future visit! (N/P)

Thanks to Mr. Sam Owen, we were introduced to Andrew Ongoka. Andrew is a Kenyan national who is married to a U.S. medical doctor.
We met with Nelson Mookie, Manager of Capital Projects for Care International Hospital.
We enjoyed a dinner with our friend Nicholas Selby! Since we met a year earlier, Nicholas has only increased his involvement in supporting solar initiatives across rural Africa.
We met with Peter Fry the executive director for Kua Ventures.
The Bucket Ministry provides a bucket and a water filter so that people who do not have access to clean water will and in the process of distributing and educating recipients they also share the gospel.
Our next meeting was with Mr. David Osamba of Nyabon Enterprises in Nairobi. His company is focused on optimizing the business of small farming.
From the fish farm, we proceeded to Container World Africa, where the owner, Calvin, showed us his operation.
Next, we visited the 93C fish farm operated by Father’s House in Ruiru, Kenya.
Their primary purpose is to train and develop skills for young people in Kenya.
This venture was started in 2017 by XXX. They have created an off-the-grid irrigation system that incorporates a solar-powered water pump, which feeds an elevated storage tank.
